The Beginning
In September 2021, The Bridge was born at the cinema in Jara Mall, with a calling to bridge the gaps in our world and point people back to Jesus. Under the leadership of Pastor Leke Adeboye, we gathered as a community of about 200 members, carrying a clear mission to love, serve, and lead. That same year, we launched Jesus in the Park, our flagship outreach program designed to meet both spiritual and physical needs in the heart of Ikeja. Held at the Jara Mall car park, we fed over 5,000 people, gave out clothing, and created space for worship and connection.

Growing Roots
As our numbers grew, so did our vision. We moved to the Bevent Center at Lagos Airport Hotel, entering a new season of stability and structure. The second edition of Jesus in the Park took place this time at Ikeja City Mall with even greater reach. We offered free meals, medical and dental checkups, haircuts, and powerful worship moments, reflecting our heart for servant leadership and community transformation.
Milestones
Stretching Beyond the Walls
We transitioned to a larger venue Oranmiyan Hall, still within Lagos Airport Hotel—to accommodate our ever growing family. Late in the year, we launched Street Church, an expression of our mission right in the streets of Ikeja. Every weekend, teams from The Bridge went out to worship, evangelize, and serve on the streets—bringing the gospel where it's needed most. Street Church also became a platform for CSR, where we distributed food, hygiene items, and offered prayer. The third edition of Jesus in the Park was held again at Ikeja City Mall, drawing hundreds for worship, free services, and acts of love.

A New Chapter of Leadership
This year marked a pivotal moment in our journey. Our founding pastor, Pastor Leke Adeboye, was promoted to serve as a Provincial Pastor, and our own Pastor Oluwafemi Oyewunmi—who had faithfully served as Assistant Pastor—became our new Lead Pastor. This transition was marked not by a shift in vision, but a deepening of it. The Bridge entered a new level of spiritual maturity, outreach, and influence. Street Church became more structured, and our culture of servant leadership continued to thrive.
Milestones
Building the Future
Now located in our current home The Bridge Center, still at Lagos Airport Hotel—we are over 700 members strong and more committed than ever to building a church that transforms lives and communities. The vision is alive: raising servant-leaders, transforming culture, and influencing business, media, technology, and governance for God's glory. Through Sunday gatherings, Street Church, discipleship programs, and our culture of generosity, The Bridge continues to grow—not just in numbers, but in impact.
